A 501c3 Community Based Program for Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

Community Access training is held on a weekly basis from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Our Explorers will work as a team to plan the day's activities based on the interests of the group, access by public transportation or walking. They will plan to eat lunch out each week unless otherwise specified. Trips are designed to increase independence focusing on the following skills:

• Transportation Training

• Communication

• Community Access

• Budgeting

• Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

• Money Handling

• Self-Advocacy

• Time Management

**Explorers are responsible for the money needed for the day's activities and lunch. The additional cost will not exceed $20 per week.
